Brent Housman, a Senior Vice President and financial advisor with the Housman Group in the Paducah office of Baird, brings more than 25 years' worth of financial experience to his practice. He sees his primary roles within the Housman group as providing collaborative advice to help their clients achieve their financial goals, navigate through the accumulation and distribution phases of retirement, and efficiently transfer assets to their heirs.
A Paducah native, Brent graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School. He completed his bachelor's degree at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, and earned his MBA through Murray State University. In addition to his MBA, Brent has earned his Series 7 and 63, and 65 licenses.
Brent and his wife, Sarah, have been married for 26 years and have four children. He is very active in his church and community, having held board positions with Beyond Uganda, Kiwanis (who named him Kiwanian of the Year), the Paducah Chamber of Commerce, the CHC LTAC Hospital, and the Boy Scouts of America, where he is an Eagle Scout. Brent was a member of Leadership Paducah Class #33. He also served two terms in the Kentucky House of Representatives and was named a Kentucky Colonel. In his spare time, Brent enjoys taking part in his children’s activities, traveling and going to the lake.
